I’m Simone Cashmore, the Designer at Form Studio.
My design-life starts in the fashion industry where I completed a Bachelor of Design at Auckland’s AUT. Not feeling like it was quite the right fit, I went on to do a Diploma of Graphic Design at YOOBEE. In Graphic Design I discovered a powerful medium for story telling. I loved the challenge of communicating a message through a piece of art, and doing it simply, cohesively and beautifully.
I take a lot of joy from working on new brands for small businesses or refreshing tired-looking brands - it’s wonderful to see my client’s restored passion in their business once they come away with a new look. I often stay on as their graphic designer and continue to service their print and digital design needs.
I also have a lot of experience working with non-profits and I offer them a discounted rate in order to support their work.
